Character Studies

Something brought forward from my last post. I did a very very lite start to the character study idea for the main character in The Manuscript. I don't know if it's a "normal" -- there are a multitude of "character study" worksheets online, which usually chart out motivations, attributes, even dialogue. But I don't know if 10 short stories, one for each character, are done per usual.

The interesting thing on this is that I can't really say for sure where it goes. Right now people fit tidily into their roles, and there's that potential that by digging deeper without a reason, I may end up in the not-yet-comfortable unknown, which as I make more stuff and live a different life will become the more-comfortable unknown. So it's that old saw about getting used to being out of your comfort zone. We'll see what comes from it character-wise; otherwise, a good structure to live by. Or does that mean I have to do my own character study, on myself? Another time, perhaps, but could be interesting ...
